The next annual conference of the National Genealogical Society is now open for registration. Mark your calendars from May 4 – 7, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The NGS website describes the upcoming event as “a four-day conference with more than 150 lectures on a wide range of topics. Topics like federal records, the law and genealogy, methodology, analysis and problem solving, military and land records, DNA, BCG Skillbuilding, and the use of technology. Among the local topics planned are Florida and Caribbean research.” Social events, workshops, local tours and other events are first-come, first-served add-ons to your registration for the conference. Register early so you get into the events you want most.
